six year old writes math program, shocks mother with how six year olds really learn

So, over the weekend, Rosebud wrote her own math program.  I am going to include some pictures of it here.  It is called “Loveable Math.” Here is the cover art:

Note the “hint” detail…borrowed from her brother’s math program, Teaching Textbooks.  

Translation:  describing “fact families” in an awkward fashion.  “If one number plus another number equals ________, then _________ plus the other number equals the same.  And, if one number plus one number equals another number, the other number MINUS one of the first numbers equals the number left over.  

That should clear it all up for everyone.
