saint Paul continues, Colossians 3: 12-17

Paul, who, in a hasty decision to ask too much of people, has just just asked me and the Colossians to be compassionate, kind, humble, meek and patient, just to set the stage for this next exhortation:

"Bear with one another, and if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive."

I suspect the modern translation would be something like, "Put up with each other, and if someone is bugging you, forgive them.  That's what we do.  We're Christians."

Note here that Paul is a realist.

Any guy who has Paul’s kind of conversion is not spouting mere platitudes.  He actually means it.  He's not bossy.  Well, he's kinda bossy.  But bossy about all the best things.  I like Paul.  He's very shoot-from-the-hip-ish and you gotta like that in a guy.

You have to change your life.
Mammal-lady.  You have to change your life, Colossians.  You have to change your life.  Everybody else.  All the time.  Every time.  Today.

"Believe in The Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.  You and your household."

Today.
